We thoroughly enjoyed this voyage which was our first experience of cruising. Our cabin was on the 9th deck just forward of midships which was a good location to minimise the effects of the Force 12 which hit us four days out Having said that I suspect most if not all of the ship will handle such conditions well. This cabin gave us access to eating in the Queen's Grill which was excellent. The food was varied and interesting, well prepared and just the right size of portion. The ship itself is huge and it took us about two days to cover it all. A good way to do this is to follow the Cunard story on the murals throughout the lobbies. We enjoyed the "Broadway Shows". The crew cannot do enough to help and assist and went to a lot of trouble to help us celebrate a birthday.
