After an exhausting but enjoyable three day stay in New York my two sisters and I embarked the QM2 for a relaxing cruise around the Caribbean and that is what we got. The QM is undoubtedly a beautiful ship. We had a B3 balcony cabin which we found fine even though there were three of us. Our cabin steward did an excellent job. We particularly enjoyed the varied choice of eateries which came at no extra cost- the chef's demonstration was really good. The night we were there he prepared an Indian menu which was excellent. The entertainment and itinerary also came up to our expectations. The one glitch was the service in the main dining room at night. Even though our waiter appeared to be working very hard the service was extremely slow and did not match that of other cruise lines we have experienced. At times one of the maitre d's also had to step in and help. The wine waiter also seemed to be struggling to cope. We wondered if they had too many tables to cope with. However, this would not stop us from taking another voyage on this wonderful ship.
